Game Description​​

​Bullet is a 2D bullet hell action platformer with boss battles only. Player plays as Victor Adams who fights against technologically advanced alien invaders, not to save the world, but for his own selfish reasons. The game is made up of stages, which the player progresses through from his home base, where he can upgrade his skills.

Role Description

Editor Programmer

  • Created and maintained a working editor for custom engine from scratch

  • Editor capabilities:

    • Creation/Modification of levels

    • Creation/Modification of components in objects

    • Creation/Modification of prefab objects

    • Saving/Loading of levels with XML

    • Adding/Using art assets in editor

    • Adding/Using audio assets in editor

    • Creation/Modification of 2D animations from sprite sheets

    • Undo/Redo

    • Tools for transform editing within scene

    • Debug draw for colliders​​

  • Worked closely with designers to maintain and modify editor for easy use

AI Programmer

  • Created basic AI enemies for tutorial stage

  • Created final boss AI based on designer's design
