Game Description​​

Skull and Bones is an upcoming online multiplayer action adventure game. Players will set sail in the Indian Ocean as pirates, where they gather resources to build ships and equip them with powerful weapons. They will sink enemy ships, battle forts with their friends and even find sea monsters lurking beneath the surface of the ocean.

Role Description

Gameplay Programmer

  • Owner of a complex system responsible for AI NPCs that has allowed SnB to have a vibrant crew on ships that can do navigation, customization, complex behaviors which combined with the use of animation, FX and audio to serve as an important and realistic way for the game to provide various kinds of feedback to the player

  • Proposed and pushed for the upgrading of certain parts of the system, such as moving from simple script-like behaviors to use of behavior trees, implementation of procedural generation of NPC visuals and major improvements of the AI navigation behavior and NPC voice interface that has given the team the capabilities to implement different complex human behaviors easily and quickly

  • Support other GPPs and designers with my technical knowledge to plan, propose and implement or rework on features like weakpoints, armor, boarding and the first mate, allowing designers to have more power and freedom in implementing fun and interesting mechanics
